BREAKING NEWS: Canadian Political Crisis, Parliament Frozen


OTTAWA,CANADA Two political parties(with support from Quebec segregationists' party) have formed a coalition against the Prime Minister Stephen Harper (Conservative)'s new Conservative minority government in the Canadian Parliament (which was elected on October 14) to form a new Liberal-New Democratic Party coalition government.The Governor-General,Michaëlle Jean (who represents the head-of-state,Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain) temporarily suspended the 40th Candian Parliament until January 26,2009 and denied the coalition. This crisis could ultimately change the Canadian Government.If the new alliance wins,the Liberal Party's Stephane Dion would become Prime Minister. Main Figures:
