Similarities between 1976 Election and 2008 election

1976: Gerald Ford vs. Jimmy Carter
The incumbent president,Gerald Ford was running for re-election after an unpopular Republican president,Richard Nixon resigned. Jimmy Carter won. Jimmy Carter tried to run for re-election,but failed, and we got the great Republican (possibly the best Republican) Ronald Reagan in 1980.

2008
: John McCain vs. Barack Obama
The incumbent president,George W Bush was an unpopular Republican president. Barack Obama won. Hopefully,Barack Obama will LOSE re-election in 2012 like Jimmy Carter in 1980 and we will get another great Republican president like Ronald Reagan.

Special Report: With Obama as President, does GOP stand a chance?

From Politics Uncovered

NEW YORK/Hudson County,NJ NEWSROOM
As several conservatives and several news sourced and John McCain has said, Obama has consistently voted with his party 100% of the time. According to VoteMatch,Obama is a HARD CORE LIBERAL. With him as president and the newly Democratically controlled Washington. Hopefully, the GOP can survive these two years as Democrats control Congress. The next chance for them to re-gain power is in 2010 with the Senate elections.

Joe 'hairplugs' Biden doesn't know what a Vice President does.

WASHINGTON Vice Pres - Elect Joe Biden (D-DE) may be qualified to be V.P. ,but does he know what the VP even does? In an interview with Fox News,he claimed the following statement about Current-VP Dick Cheney:

Vice President Cheney has been the most dangerous vice president we've had probably in American history. The idea he doesn't realize that Article I of the Constitution defines the role of the vice president of the United States, that's the Executive Branch. He works in the Executive Branch. He should understand that. Everyone should understand that.

And the primary role of the vice president of the United States of America is to support the president of the United States of America, give that president his or her best judgment when sought, and as vice president, to preside over the Senate, only in a time when in fact there's a tie vote. The Constitution is explicit.

The only authority the vice president has from the legislative standpoint is the vote, only when there is a tie vote. He has no authority relative to the Congress. The idea he's part of the Legislative Branch is a bizarre notion invented by Cheney to aggrandize the power of a unitary executive, and look where it has gotten us. It has been very dangerous.

One should be careful when throwing around terms such as “most dangerous” and “bizarre.” But Biden is confusing which part of the Constitution covers the Executive Branch (it is Article II, not Article I). More importantly, the notion that the vice president can preside over the Senate only when there is a tie vote is simply wrong. Nor is it true that the only legislative involvement the vice president has is to break tie votes. The vice president is the president of the Senate, where he interprets the rules and can only be overridden by a vote of 60 senators.

Financial Crisis:Dems want $25 Billion for automakers bailout

WASHINGTON Democrats in Congress are proposing $25 Billion Dollars to bailout the auto industry. This money would come out of the $700 Billion Wall Street Bailout, according to Rep. Barney Frank - D,who is going to write up the bailout. President Bush is on the Democrats' side for now saying it would help the struggling auto industry. Minority Leader Sen.Mitch McConnell (R-KY) says that Congress should speed up the release of the $700 Billion Bailout. Auto executives, labor leaders and other industry proponents are mounting an intense lobbying effort for a bailout, painting a grim scenario for the economy if even one of the Big Three companies were to go under. They want an immediate $25 billion loan to keep the companies operating and a separate $25 billion to help cover future healthcare obligations for retirees and their current employees.

Sarah Palin's not out of the spotlight yet

MIAMI - The former GOP Vice Presidential Nominee,Gov. Sarah Palin (AK) spoke today in Miami at a meeting of the Republican Governors' Association. She urged them that even though the GOP is the minority party right now,we shouldn't be the quote 'Negative Party'. Palin has also been speculated to run for the U.S. Senate Seat of Alaska (currently held by Ted Stevens-R,but is experiencing problems determing the results of the 2008 Senate Election in Alaska). She is also speculated to run for the 2012 GOP Presidential Nomination in the 2012 Presidential Election. The current frontrunner for the 2012 GOP nomination is Former Gov. Mitt Romney (R) - who PoliticsUncovered is endorsing and hoping runs.

Obama resigns as Illinois' Junior Senator

CHICAGO Barack Obama has officially resigned his seat in the U.S. Senate,as of Sunday. He has called his job a good opportunity. Now,Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich (D) must assign a replacement, since Illinois did not have a senate election this year. Oddly enough, Joe Biden {mr.Hair plugs} won re-election as the Delaware Senator. He probably didn't expect to win.
Congress has a special meeting next week and the Illinois governor (D) must pick a replacement fast.

NASTICK,LONG ISLAND,NY
Several people graffiti ed racial slurs on people's cars in a town in Suffolk County. They also killed an immigrant just for his race. They also put threatening words for our President-Elect Obama. Words like 'KILL OBAMA '08' were graffitied on a car. This is not the first time Anti-Obamaism has been found on Long Island. A plot to assassinate him was foiled in Suffolk County just before Halloween.

The War on Terror..and Gas.

If you've been watching FAIR news sources such as Fox News, you know that technically, the War is almost over. According to FOX News, attacks have been lowering in Iraq since before Summer 2008. Basically, we are winning in Iraq. You may think it's because of President-Elect Barack Obama, but I hate to say this, but it was Current-President George W. Bush. Also,to clear things up,it was under Bush that gas prices started lowering. Obama didn't even win yet when gas prices started to dramatically lower. Here,in New Jersey, gas is ALWAYS cheap. Thanks to a former REPUBLICAN NJ Governor (circa 1999-2000),there are no taxes when you buy gas in the Garden State. Gas is now about $2.00 heading towards $1. I just can't believe that people are stupid enough to think that thanks to Obama, that we have low gas prices. Expect to pay a lot of $$$ during the Obama-HairPlugs-Pelosi-Reid Washington. Good luck.

~I HOPE OBAMA DOES'NT WIN RE-ELECTION. I AM VERY SERIOUS. BE PREPARED FOR THE NEXT 4 YEARS (OR 2 IF THE GOP TAKES BACK CONTROL OF THE HOUSE FROM THAT WHORE,NANCY PELOSI AND THAT IDIOT HARRY REID)

Personally,Democrats,YOU messed up the nation the past 2 years. YOU WERE IN CONTROL SINCE 2006 UNDER PELOSI. YOU HAD MORE AUTHORITY AND MORE CONTROL THAN BUSH.

All in all,I blame the Democratically Controlled House/Congress and Nancy Pelosi for MOST of our nation's current problems.

BREAKING NEWS:Obama's Healthcare Plan will cost the U.S. BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

I am sick & tired of the Democrats raising taxes. They don't even think! Where is the money for this and that gonna come from? Here is the lastest tax hike: President-Elect Barack Obama's Healthcare plan is going to cost the U.S. $ 75,000,000,000.00 (billions) which will provide health insurance to 95% of America, while bankrupting us at the same time. That $75B is only for the first year! By 2018,it will cost the government $1,000,000,000,000.00 (trillions). Why the hell should I pay for someone else's health insurance? Only $25 billion of the $75 billion will come from current funds. That means....TAXES ARE GOING TO BE RAISED to meet Mr. Obama's plan (he needs $50 Million More). You don't need to be a math expert to know that. We are already in a WORLDWIDE financial mess and he wants the average American tax payer to pay more? & Best of all,you know he's gonna cut something(hopefully not education). I think we should have an affordable universal healthcare plan, not a free one for every single thing that lives and breathes in this great country of ours. What he should do is work with the GOP and Democrats to create a plan that doesn't cost the tax payers. Hopefully, this plan won't cover illegal immigrants, but with the Democrats and Obama and Mr.Hair Plugs in control, you can count on it.

Politics Uncovered is endorsing Mitt Romney for President,2012

Politics Uncovered has chosen to (in)formally endorse Fmr. Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA),right, for President in 2012,if he runs again. He is the right conservative to be the next Ronald Reagan. As we previously posted, the 2008 and 1976 elections are similar. We hope that the 2012 and 1980 elections are similar too. (see 1976 vs. 2008 election Post). 2012 would be similar if Barack Obama LOSES re-election to a great Republican (in 1980 - Jimmy Carter LOST re-election to the great & honorable Ronald Reagan)

Washington Post
Dallas Morning News

Obama Campaign and Supporters keep redefining rich.

A couple days ago, this blog broke the story that Joe Biden redefined rich to people making $150,000 a year. Today,Gov. Bill Richardson (D-NM),an Obama supporter redefined it to $120,000 a year on a radio interview. Here's the clip:

Obama's original tax cut plan was for people making $250,000/year. Then,Obama's 30-minute ad pushed it down to $200,000. Then,Joe Biden redefined his plan as $150,000/year. Today,on Halloween,Gov Bill Richardson said Obama's tax plan would be for people making $120,000.

Election Day Countdown

Election 08 : Obama would be the first President that

Here is an article from the National Review.

Obama Makes History—in Many Ways [by Peter Kirsanow]

It's a great and historic moment. We have the first black presidential nominee of a major party in the United States. As Jonah notes, however, it's unfortunate that the nominee is a liberal with little experience and poor judgment.
And it won't be the only first. In addition Obama will be
  • the first presidential nominee known to have a terrorist as a friend and working associate
  • the first presidential nominee to vote against a measure designed to prevent a form of infanticide
  • the first Commander-in-Chief nominee to dismiss as an elitist a veteran who spent 5 1/2 years being tortured by the enemy
  • the first presidential nominee to favor giving habeas corpus rights to foreign terrorists
  • the first presidential nominee known to have a pastor who exclaimed "God damn America "
  • the first presidential nominee to state that he will talk without precondition to the leaders of state sponsors of terrorism
  • the first presidential nominee to support giving driver's licenses to illegal immigrants
  • the first presidential nominee to assert that he's embarrassed that his countrymen don't speak French or German
  • the first presidential nominee to compare the U.S. infrastructure unfavorably to that of a communist country
  • the first presidential nominee to have a more extreme position on life issues than NARAL
Is whatever societal benefit that may be derived from electing the first black president worth having a president who has established the other firsts?

Tonight,Obama put up a 30 minute advertisement on : NBC , FOX,BET and several other networks. In this commercial,it seems like he thinks he's already the president! He's even in a room similar to the oval office. I think this ad was ridiculous. I do not support Obama/Biden.

Approval Ratings

Since Bush and (hopefully) Pelosi are about to leave,I decided to show you their final Approval Ratings,Courtesy of RealClearPolitics.com.

President Bush Approval Ratings Average: 68% Disapproval 25% Approval

Congressional Job Approval Ratings (led by Nancy Pelosi) Average: 74%Disapproval 16% Approval

If Obama wins,Congress will stay like this and LOWER approval ratings and the country will get WORSE with one party controlling everything.

Sen. Joe Biden redefines rich as anyone making $150,000/year.

Senator Obama said people making less than $250,000 would benefit from his plan, then this weekend he announced in an ad that if youre a family making less than $200,000 — but yesterday, in Pennsylvania, Senator Biden said tax relief should only go to middle class people — people making under $150,000 a year.

Obama-Biden Tax Plan: Relief for people making under:

1st Plan - $250,000/yr

2nd Plan - $200,000/yr

Current Plan- $150,000/yr.

This means if you make over $150,000/year, you will not get a tax break and will probably have to pay higher taxes.

Obama/Biden is definitely going to raise taxes and this is proof of it:

W.

Last weekend, the movie W ,George W.Bush's biography movie by Oliver Stone was released. Unfortunately:
  • This blog wasn't created yet when this movie was released.
  • The movie opened at #4.
This weekend,I think it's obviously go down due to High School Musical 3 and Saw 5.

Here's the cast:
Josh Brolin as George W. Bush
Thandie Newton as Condoleeza Rice
Elizabeth Banks as Laura Bush
Ioan Gruffudd (from the Fantastic 4 Movies,as Mr. Incredible) as Tony Blair

For the full cast, visit IMDb

Here's the trailer from their Youtube page.

Let's talk bias.

Most people think Fox News is the most biased news channel. Well,it's not. According to Rasmussen Reports,in the 2004 election, they polled people on their choice for most biased.

Here's the most biased network:Now,FOX News has defended themselves by giving the public statistics of people who watch Fox News and it's competitors:

45% Republicans
45% Democrats

Compared to MSNBC:
29% (about) Republicans
70 % Democrats

This is what commercials airing on Fox News claim. Along with their 'Fair and Balanced' logo.

To prove CBS News is the channel that's really biased, here are today's polls for the 2008 Presidential Election:

Fox News McCain 40% Obama 49%
CBS News McCain 39% Obama 52%

Notice,Obama is ahead in both, but CBS News has given Obama a 13 point advantage.
The RealClearPolitics.com Poll Average is only Obama by 7 points in most national polls.
CBS News is obviously biased. If you saw their coverage on the last debate, when they asked 'Joe The Plumber' who he decided to vote for/who won the debate, he was about to say McCain won the debate but CBS 'claimed they were out of time' before he could say so. So,we now all know that CBS News is the one that's biased now, right?
