Gas Now less than $2/gallon.

NEW YORK - Gas is starting to settle at less than $2 /gallon while the economy's going crazy. Everyone (liberals) keep thinking Obama did this. Truth is,he didn't. He's not even in office yet,and you think he lowered the gas prices? Truth is,we made it lower...the businesses made it lower...It's all due to this economic crisis,people. If anybody deserves slight thanks,I guess it's our outgoing-current President George W. Bush. He may have a bad rep..but here's what he did last Summer:

• set up a 14-month withdrawal date for troops, even though Obama said he'd bring home the troops already, June-July 2008.
  
• Tried to find a solution to the economic crisis,September 2008

I'm not saying he's the worst or the best,but remember this:

• Congress (both Senate and House) have been controlled by DEMOCRATS since 2006.
• Congress passes laws and decides what goes on in the country.

I'm not trying to say Bush was the worst president,He would've been a better president..if:

• He made his speeches a little better , like Obama's.
• Worked just a little bit more with the Democratic Congress

Anyway,Obama didn't lower gas prices,okay? He didn't have ANYTHING to do with gas prices. All he has to do on Jan. 21 is fix this economy.
In 2010,The GOP will hopefully revive from the ashes and take control of Congress.
In 2012,Hopefully a new start........if this start fails....like Carter ...

BREAKING NEWS: Auto Industry bailout denied by Senate

WASHINGTON - The top 3 automakers asked Congress for a $34 Billion bailout. According to the New York Times,Congress(House) has approved a bailout,which is not clear yet to last until the incoming Administration.More details may be released over the weekend.

UPDATE: It is going to cost taxpayers $14 Billion and is on its way to The White House.

UPDATE: GOP and other critics of the bill say it will cause a rise in taxes and decrease taxpayer confidence in Congress. The GOP will do what it can do to stop the bill from passing in the Senate.

UPDATE: The bill has NOT passed in the Senate thanks to all GOP Senators denying it with some Democrats.Most Democrats voted FOR the bill,which would've caused us $14 Billion. The Auto Dept is depending on the Treasury Dept. is looking for another way to give some money to the Big 3 Automakers,probably from the $700 Billion bailout.GM is closing 20 plants to cut costs.

BREAKING NEWS: Illinois Governor tries to sell Obama's senate seat

CHICAGO - Illinois Gov.Rod Blagojevich (D) has been caught via wiretap to be selling Obama's senate seat. He also tried to give it to himself for financial benefits. The GOP is demanding he step down and have a special election for the senate seat,which sounds fair. The Illinois Governor may face up to 30 years in jail for selling the seat. Report from MSNBC:

ATHENS,GREECE - Anti-police riots continue due to a 15 year old teenager being shot by Greek Police. Violence and Outrage spread throughout Athens,Greece's capital and largest city and Thessaloniki,Greece's 2nd largest cities. Teens have been throwing rocks at police and universities. Schools have been shut down because teachers have also joined the teens in protesting.The 15 year old is going to be buried near the site he was killed. WASHINGTON-NEW YORK : Secy of State-designate Hillary Clinton (D-NY) is going to meet with Current Secy of State Condoleezza Rice (R-CA) to discuss the transition of power,and other light topics..such as dinner plans. Condi Rice has just come back from a trip from Pakistan and Mumbai,India after the Mumbai attacks. So far,Ms. Rice's political future is unknown. Some say she would be a great Presidential candidate in 2012,but it is speculated she would run for California governor after Gov.Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA) leaves due to term limits.

Pres-Elect Obama has said he has a plan to get out of this recession in his weekly address available as a podcast on iTunes. That's right..RECESSION. Politicians have started saying recession. The only good thing is that gas is less than $2/GALLON.

Currently,he has the lowest Approval Rating of any U.S. President,surpassing Richard Nixon. The Bushes will also continue managing their ranch in Crawford,Texas, according to their Press Secretary.

Rice in Pakistan to condemn Mumbai Attacks

ISLAMABAD,Pakistan Secy. of State Condoleezza Rice (R) is currently in Pakistan to condemn the Mumbai,India Terror Attacks and to ask Pakistan for aid and assistance in capturing those responsible,claimed to be in Pakistan. WASHINGTON - The Top 3 Automakers (Ford,GM,Chrysler) continue to beg Congress for a bailout. Congressional Democrats are urging the Bush Administration to tap into the $700 Billion package. The Bush Administration says that instead of the $700 Billion,The 3 Automakers should use an earlier $25 billion program to help the company.

WASHINGTON - Today,the National Bureau of Economic Research has officially stated that we are in fact in a recession,and have been in one since about December 2007. The NBER has said we may be in a recession until Mid-next year.

WASHINGTON - It has been confirmed that Pres-Elect Obama has offered Bush's Secretary of Defense Robert Gates (R-KS) his job again for Obama's cabinet. Gates is a Republican who served under Ronald Reagan,George H.W. Bush,and G.W. Bush under Defense-Security Positions. He was a member of the Young Republicans and Texas A&M University President.
