WASHINGTON - It has been confirmed that Pres-Elect Obama has offered Bush's Secretary of Defense Robert Gates (R-KS) his job again for Obama's cabinet. Gates is a Republican who served under Ronald Reagan,George H.W. Bush,and G.W. Bush under Defense-Security Positions. He was a member of the Young Republicans and Texas A&M University President. He has confirmed he will stay for one year in Obama's cabinet. This will help the GOP maintain some presence in the new Administration.
