Obama's aide meets with GOP leaders.
WASHINGTON Obama sent his next White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel (D-IL) to meet with Republican leaders to improve relations between the GOP and the Democrats. The GOP has criticized him for being partisan. But Emanuel (D) preached unity for America's two largest parties.It seems the news once again blames President Bush for dividing the parties,that have ALWAYS been divided since Abraham Lincoln (R-IL) was president,and look what happened...the Civil War. .
