Some Senate elections too close to call

ATLANTA - In the Senate elections in Georgia and Minnesota,the race is too close to call. If the Democrats win,they will have a super-majority in the Senate,and therefore,be able to block any filibusters. This is important to determine the Senate majority of 60 seats. Incumbent Senator Saxby Chambliss (R) is running against Jim Martin (D) in this very close election.Former Presidential Candidates Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and Former Gov. MINNEAPOLIS-ST PAUL - In Minnesota,incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman (R) is running against Al Franken (D).According to recent reports,Coleman (R) is only ahead by 110+ votes,which is a similar number to the 2000 U.S. Presidential Election Recount in Florida. Click here for the main article.
